Where I Teach
Someone left a comment wanting to know where I teach knitting and if I taught crochet. Yes, I also teach crochet, I have been crocheting most of my life and it is also coming back in style, like knitting. To answer the other the other part of the question, the place that has been keeping me soooooooo busy is
on 33 LaSalle Rd., West Hartford, CT, USA. I teach there after 5 on weeknight and on Sundays. I also have been filling in on Saturdays the past couple of weeks. I like to teach the new knitters and crochets especially when they say "wow I did it"

Secret Pal
I thought my One Skein Secret Pal forgot me but I just receive an email from her. She will be sending me a package this week, I can't wait, very excited.
Onto knitting news, still working on the Butter and Jam sleeve, half way done. The log cabin "blankie" is coming out nice, I will take another picture of it and post it soon.
For some reason this past week everyone wants to learn how to knit. I had classes 5 days in a row. I had no desire to knit when I went home.

This is fun
Since I finished the shawl, Barbara conned me into starting the Log Cabin blanket from the "Mason-Dixon" knitting book, which I love. Well, the pattern is soooo easy and fun. This picture was from a couple of days ago and I just got around to uploading it now. I have the red rectangle enclosed and will have another picture posted soon.

one of the reasons
One of the reasons I haven't written anything in a while, I was working on this Debbie Bliss project for Sit-n-Knit. I finally finished it last knit. I think it looks better laying down. It is a zippered linned scarf with a pocket on the front and one inside. It is a cute pattern.
My son worked on his own project at school. It is a corduroy knapsack lined with green checkered materal. He sewed it all himself and received an A for the project. Jodi said it look liked a banana from the picture.
As you can see he is also eating chips and dip. My son, my son.
