Facecloths

While the girls were working I was busy making my Grandmother a birthday present real quick. Her birthday is Monday, August 21st and she will be 85. Of course she has everything and she is tough to buy for but always loves it when I make her something. We have a really big family and I love to suck up whenever I can. And yes, it is a competition in my family and usually I am not into competition but it is fun to see who is the favorite of the month. Maybe it is an Italian thing, I do not know, but it makes for some great laughs.

My first born has a job

And she was not too happy about it. But she did sort of posed for this picture.

Sal said she did well on her first day. It was an outdoor wedding and Jaime said there were a "lot of cute guys". So maybe she will enjoy this job. Sara also started today, (Sal's daughter), she is a month and a day older than Jaime.

My First Born is 16

Jaime is 16 today. I told her she is 12 and I am sticking to it. She cannot be 16. If she is 16 that means I am 4 years older also. She nows has her driving permit passed the test with a 100, can't pass any other test with a 100 but can pass this one with 100. Isn't that interesting.

I did not get to finish her lime green and orange purse for the big day but I showed her how it looks and she was happy with the results. She wants to pick out the lining anyway. God forbid I pick out the wrong black and white check pattern. I explained that I had to help a very good friend with a knitting project and do some marathan knitting that had to be done and she understood. As long as the purse is done by school she will be happy.
